WELCOME TO THE HASH HOUSE HARRIERS IN BATEMANS BAY

We are a mixed Hash that runs in and around the Bateman's Bay region of Eurobodalla Shire on the south coast of NSW.

Motto : "there is nothing wrong with sobriety ... in moderation"

If you are not sure where that is, it is about 150 kms east of Canberra (about a 2 hour drive) and 265 kms south of Sydney (about a 3 to 4 hours drive).

If you are from out of town and need to stay at some neat seaside accommodation, there are tons of accommodation establishments around the region.  The Bay is also famous for its local rock oysters and there are a couple of micro-breweries, some of which are listed here.

  • Runs are held on the 1st Saturday of each month
  • Runs start at 4.00pm from October to March (ie EDST), and at 3.00pm from April to September (ie EST)
  • Runs are typically 5 to 8km, and are followed by a Hash Circle and an Après Hash at a local venue or private home
  • Run fees are $5.00 per head, and pay for your drinks from the bucket as you imbibe
  • There is a walkers trail and a drink stop.

Celebrating 20 years since Pugwash & Gobbles came up with all this on April Fools Day 2006.

  • And there will be a t-shirt to mark the passage of time.
  • And it will be $15 cash on the barrel head. Attendees get first dibs
  • And there can be orders placed and quickly filled if there is a greater demand than supply. (Shirts do not have to traverse the Straits of Hormuz)
  • And the hair/s will be having birthdays too.
  • And I dunno if anyone is baking a cake.
